Lance signed in the Marine Corps after Tahlequah High School graduation. Out of the naive
concept of defending America by charging beaches. He put his name on the line at the
Muskogee Recruiting Office on the "buddy program.” His “buddy” never showed. He served
five years on 1st Force Recon and during his service he was able to visit over two dozen
countries and says there are super great people everywhere. (Some even saved him from
death). Lance says, “always been the best thing that he ever did was joining the Corps”
Discipline made his life better. He served in the 1st Gulf War.
