Major Quinten Tibbetts has served in the Air Force for the last 19 years. He chose to join the Air National Guard in 2001 after high school and continued to serve during his college years, even deploying to the Middle East for part of that time. He has been on numerous deployments, serving overseas four times. He has deployed to Qatar, Iraq, Japan and Afghanistan. He has received many honors throughout his career, including “Officer of the Year” for the entire state of Oklahoma. My children and I chose to honor him because he chooses to put service over self day in and day out. He serves with integrity and honor. He is the most giving and humble person you will ever meet.
