Tucker served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corp during WWII where he earned a Purple Heart, Combat Action for Service award for WWII, Presidential Unit Citation for Service in Okinawa, American Campaign Medal for WWII, Asiatic/Pacific Campaign Medal with a Bronze Star, WWII Victory Medal and an Expert Rifle Badge
Tahlequah Proudly honors Fred Tucker Glad who served as a in  Corporal in the United States Marine Corps in WWII.
This banner is located on Muskogee Avenue on the west side between Choctaw and Keetowah Street.
